I wish I could convey how lovely summer smells. It smells of bird cherry and freshly cut grass. It smells of sunshine and ocean air. It smells of happiness and freedom.

A few days ago I took a long walk after work. It’s funny how a pretty awful night turned into a great one. The world is beautiful.
My home is beautiful.
Saturday
Yesterday was spent with a dear friend and co-worker of mine. She dragged me out to the beach where we relaxed and met nice people and cursed the wind. And made soap bubbles. Dinner You’re jealous. I know you are. And it was delicious. Life was beautiful and the Germans are visiting. And we ended up seeing both a sun and a moon setting under the horizon.

My neighbour gave me rhubarb..
and my boyfriend gave me an ice cream maker.
My life is awesome. :)
Of kites and sunshine
Last week, my boyfriend and I spent an afternoon in the sun. There was a guy standing just next to me flying a kite, and I kid you not, the thing was on the other side of the water, above the houses you can see in the picture below. It was pretty fantastic! Wish I’d had my wide angle lens to catch it all in one picture.
The weather truly has been beautiful lately!
