I finally had a day off, so this happened.

The pictures are all old photos and postcards from the town I live in. I’ve been buying new ones every now and then, and last week I was given the 7 larger ones, so I thought it was time to put them all up. My kitchen is now my favourite part of my apartment. I’m so happy with the way it turned out!
I also cooked a ton of food today. I have to take time to do that, this way I don’t have to worry about lunch and dinner next week, when I’ll be working my butt off again :)

So for the past couple of months I’ve kept a secret. Why? Because I didn’t want to tell you something and then have to say it didn’t go the way I planned. But today I graduated the Swedish equivalent of high school! I’ve been working hard for this for a long time, and I’m finally through. There are absolutely NO words to explain the feeling when I stood there at school, and my teacher handed me the signed papers. The papers saying that I’ve finished. That I’ve succeeded with something that I’m truly proud of.

I celebrated in the best way possible; at work, with the people I love. Mainly by giving everyone strawberries. I think I’m adapting to the Swedish ways…

Yesterday was the best of days. It was Sweden’s national day, which meant a day off work.
Picnic in the park with a bunch of friends and amazing food, then a seaside restaurant and after that, tea (and whiskey, but not for me).
To quote a friend; how are we going to top this?

I’m not sure, but I do think we have potential to make awesome plans.

So you know just going to the market thing with a friend.
Turned into a 7 people gathering in my apartment. Gosh am I glad I’ve got a bigger place now! All of us actually managed to sit rather comfortably and we had an awesome time. Good food, average weather and excellent company.
Let’s do this again some time (soon)!

Bringing Insta back

I used to be very active on Instagram back in the days, but after a minor accident I had to retreat to an older phone which disabled me. Now that I’m back on track, you can follow me if you like :) PrincessCeleste_ (link in sidebar under Connect). Be there or be…square ;)

Today there’s some market things going on here, actually really close to where I live (about a minute walking distance) so me and a friend are heading over there later. Also some changes will happen today. Have a nice Saturday everyone!

Picture taken a few days ago on a lunch break, which I spent lying on a bench downtown, in the sun, eating fruit and listening to a couple of guys playing guitar behind me. Fantastic.
