I know I have a few snail mail enthusiasts on my blog, and here’s a tip for you. I know we all like cheap/free but nice stationery, and most of you are so creative that this should interest you.
Do you want to learn how to design your own letter writing paper? Of course you do! Well, it’s your lucky day! The lovely Robine over at Vintage Voyage has put together a tutorial for how to make it in Photoshop (complete with instructions on how to download a trial version of PS). There is also a striped paper template that you can use for an easy start in your designing! To get to the tutorial (which is in English and Dutch), click on the picture! :)
A little tip from me; if you’re not a photographer, you can still get a long way with Photoshop brushes. A good way to find free ones is to search for them on Google, but if you’re lazy, this is a great source; Brusheezy.com :)

Wow, thanks for blogging about my tutorial! I am very excited to see what you’ve come up with ;)
I know I’ve been looking for a tutorial like this for quite a while and it was so easy to understand, I’m sure my readers would like it too :) Hopefully I’ll create something worth printing, I thought I’d try the print shop downtown for the first time, see if they’re any good! I’ll definitely show you when it’s done!
SV: ja verkligen en djup och fin film. Tack för din kommentar, det är helt riktigt. Det svåra är bara att intala sig det hela med.
That is so neat! I’ve always wanted to make myself some Vikingesque stationary of some sorts :D
See, now you’ve got your chance! Also the tiny part of me that thinks she should be patriotic about her Scandinavian blood say YAY to Viking stationery!
I will be checking this out! Me and Tor-Ulf are interested in creating awesome stationery together :) By the way, isn’t it super expensive to print at print shops? I have been thinking about this for a while now, and searched the net but it seems I have to make.. 300+ copies if I want to keep the price per page ratio down.. :( And ordinary printing paper looks so.. cheap. xD
Just for the record, I will buy Tor-Ulf stationery, so it better happen.
I have absolutely NO idea about the price range at print shops, I assumed they wouldn’t be horribly pricey but maybe they are? Because I know you can get those business cards for like no money at all so I just assumed it would at least be cheaper than buying stationery (because that gets expensive very quickly, especially if you’re like me and write really long letters). I should probably check into that :)
